Grapplers Quest 2010 results

Tomas "Midnight Train" Salas 1st place gi 1st place no gi

He had a total of 11 matches in both divisions and won all of them by submission in the intermediate level

Nick "Ninja Assassin"Zolfaghari 1st place no gi 3rd place gi

Nick has shown so much improvement starting jiujitsu at 155 lbs and now a lean 124 lbs. He is so dedicated by taking privates daily and always trying to improve his game.

I always say that in competition you have to learn how to change your game, both Nick and Thomas demonstrated that by using different games such as x guard, back control and submissions.

Today was a great day for WCJJ, Coach Brian had the honor to teach SBSORT TEAM a POST self defense class.He had over 15 attendees. He enjoys teaching and especially teaching police officers the technique of bjj.

Pablito is recovering from his surgery. His eye was removed and hopefully with that, all the cancer. We are still waiting for the results. Pablo said they will know in 6 weeks. In the meantime we want to help Pablito and his family through this rough time.
